    preferably black
I do not need the edges polished
I need a 2″ hole cut in the center
how much would this be if you have it??

  3. admin says:

    Hi Renee,
We primarly stock large slabs. I can send you a list of fabricators that have a good stock of remnants. They’d be able to core a hole for you as well :-)Send us your email and I’ll shoot that info over to you.

  6. ivey says:

Is the fantasy brown quartzite easy to care for? I love the look but want my kitchen to be fairly easy to care for.

    • admin says:

      Hi Ivey,
I apologize I never replied :-( For some reason I don’t remember seeing your question. It is easy to care for. It doesn’t scratch or is effected by acids. It won’t stain, as long as you use a good sealer. We like Pro Seal by Tenax. Let me know if you have any other questions.

  7. Kalyn says:

How do I get a price quote. I want to install it myself but I do need it cut. Do you cut it also?

    • admin says:

      Hi Kalyn,
We are just a supplier, so we don’t cut anything. However there is a stone fabricator that is located on our street, that we work with. For diyers, the clients will buy the slab and the fabricator will pick it up, cut it to your dimensions (template) and you can pick it up when its ready! They give you advice on how to transport it and what glues etc to use. Their company is called Homchick Stoneworks
Let me know if you have any other questions.

      Hi Kalyn,
I am so sorry, I just noticed your comment. Are you still in need of soapstone?

  8. Sandy K says:

Do you carry the quartzite that mimics carrara marble? If so, I need a 60″ by 23″ piece. No cutouts or fabrication needed. Thank you. Sandy

  9. Natalie says:

Do you have scrap pieces of soapstone for sale for other projects? (i.e. wanting to make whiskey stones)

    • admin says:

We don’t, because we are just a supplier. But the soapstone fabricator next door, does! They make bricks with soapstone scraps, if they’re less than 4″, they recycle them.

  10. Laura Taube says:

We will be remodeling a kitchen that is located in Florida. We are interested in the
Labradorite Lemurian blue granite. Do you supply to other states?

    • admin says:

      Hi Laura,
Thanks for your inquiry. We can most definitely ship the stone to your location. However, it would be more cost efficient if you found it in your area. You may want to check out Marble of the World in Florida. Let me know if you have any questions.
      Thank you,
      Crocodile Rocks

  11. A in Bellingham says:

I am looking for a remnant of soapstone, classic black (or close), for a fireplace landing. The dimensions are roughly 21 3/4 x 58 1/2 with a thickness between 3/4 – 1 1/4. I’d like the edges knocked off (modern edge).

  12. Margaret Rumpeltes says:

I am looking for a small piece of soapstone or anything really, I just like soapstones, for an area around a kitchen sink. Would need 57x25x1.5″ approximately. Could you send me that list of fabricators with remnants? Margaret

  13. Heather says:

We are thinking of using soapstone on a wall mounted counter and sink for a small bathroom. For a piece 36″ x 24″ will we need supports underneath? We are worried the stone is too heavy to hang. Also, we’d love ideas for who to contact for a small piece like this. Thanks, Heather

  14. Ben says:

Just to recap, I’m looking for one box of the polished 18×18 Belgian Truffle and one box of the 18×18 leathered Sicilia Grey. Thanks!

Hi- I am actually currently visiting Rio de Janeiro and thought I might find here the type of Soapstone I have been looking for. Coming from southern California, it seems maybe I should have headed north, instead, to see you (even the shipping might be easier.) I will contact you by email. .
