Granite

Igneous rocks were molten matter deep in the earth; they cooled and took shape as the mass was pushed to the surface. Igneous rocks include Granite, Gabbro, Basalt and Porphyry. The mineral composition is primarily Feldspar and Quartz plus other minerals such as Mica and Hornblende that contribute to the color of the stone. The grain structure can range from coarse to fine and is generally consistent throughout the stone, although some can show veining. A broad range of colors are available including reds, browns, blacks, whites, beiges, yellow, pinks, greys, blues and greens. Granites are hard, dense stones that can be highly polished, honed or finished in a variety of ways. They are generally suitable for exterior and interior applications.

    Hi,
I’m looking for 3cm remnants of absolute black granite, polished, to use for sculpture bases. Do you have any of that?
    Thanks,
    Rob

Hi, I’m looking for a slab of polished Black Galaxy for a kitchen table top. Do you have any that size or a remnant that can be cut to that size?

      Hi Lenore,
We generally have full size slabs. But we do have a 60″ x 65″ 2cm polished piece of Black Galaxy. Since we are just a supplier, we don’t have a saw and are unable to cut. However, there is a fabrication shop on our same street. I’ll email you their info.
      Thanks,
      Cheris
