Although this isn’t true soapstone, its actually a dolomite (hard marble). Its similar to Danby Marble from Vermont. The porosity rate is a lot lower than most marbles. Meaning it doesn’t stain as easy. Each of the slabs are 3cm honed on one side and leathered on the other. Both surfaces are ideal for a kitchen countertop. If you happen to get a stain or etch mark from acids (lemons), just remove it with a little comet or 220 sandpaper. Viola, its super easy to maintain! We have a limited quantity of these slabs. They measure 59′ x 110″.White Soapstone Detail
