Maroon purple turquoise Breccia De Medici
colorful antique red marble
Breccia de Medici Marble
A Brecciated maroon marble with a beautiful matrix of deep Griotte (Red Cherry) plum like veins interlaced in a abundant melange of sage, gold’s, charcoal, purples and ivory whites. This stone is highly regarded in Italy, its country of origin. In fact for the past 700 to 1,000 years it has been regarded as quite the noble stone gracing the royalty that once thrived in Italia. To this day it still soundly resides in the famous Medici Palace and many other prominent Italian buildings and Duomos. It is usually seen as a surface material on fine furnishings, vanities or inlays on the floor as well as wall cladding.
This stone is available in a Polished, Leathered & polish surface finish in a 3cm thickness.
If you’re looking for a stone to convey a sense of European elegance, I would therefore recommend this marble. Breccia De Medici Marble wholeheartedly has a timeless sense about it. It is pleasing to the eye and is a very becoming material, in addition it has a rich historical background in terms of its usage.
This stone would be ideal anywhere most marbles would be applied to, such as vanity tops, shower surrounds, tub decks or to serve as a top on a fine piece of furniture.
We invite you to bring your bright & beautiful self to our Stone gallery so that you too can marvel at this marble.
Stay tune for the next weeks Stone Feature of the Week!
Warmly,
Crocodile Rocks, Inc.
