- SEALING: All natural stones are recommended to be sealed every 6 months to 1 year. The amount of time really depends on the customer’s usage and care methods. If the area is used and cleaned daily, it’s recommended to seal the stone every 6 months or sooner, if required. To tell if your stone needs to be required, perform a water drop test. If the water beads up on the surface, then the sealers doing its job. But if the water penetrates and gets darker, then its time to seal your stone again.
