GRAPHITE (BLACK/GREEN)

This flat black has the most brilliant snow white veining. It measures a 4-5 on the Mohs scale. Every natural material has a varying amount of ingredients. This particular one happens to have less talc, making it a harder variety. Its a perfect option for kitchen countertops. Soapstones with a higher content of Talc are better for fireplaces, because Talc is what retains temperature.

Note: The color differences are due to lighting, when the photo was taken. Most have are shown watered down as well. However, water always makes them look greener than the oil will make them look ;) If you’re looking for a warmer undertone (Green) CLICK HERE.
